The focus over the last month has been on the installation of 300 concrete piles into the site.  These will form the anchor points for the new building with foundations now being prepared.  The drilling for the piles generated considerable noise levels but we are delighted that, as planned, this phase of the construction activities has now been completed and will not impact on pupils sitting their SQA examinations.  Much of the work ‘below ground’ has now been completed and as such the framework of the new building should start to become more apparent above the surface.
